The retreat that is being offered is NEW and has been created to appeal to students in grades 7-12. As a not-for-profit, Anastasis (“resurrection”) has compiled an exhibit of tactile replicas and innovative technology to engage young learners.
 
No retreat has ever been offered that focused specifically on the message of the Shroud, with a unique audience of purely school-aged students where students are encouraged to interact and touch immersive exhibit items.
As such, the talk is completely different and we will be taking on a CSI-type, investigative adventure, to explain the mysteries of the Shroud.
 
This is not like anything that has been done before.
 
HOW LONG IS IT FROM
START TO FINISH ?
Our talk begins at 10 am sharp (seriously), so please arrive at the church and you will be seated in the pews. Our introduction is impactful, so you do not want to be late.
 
Next, listen to a riveting 50 minute action-packed discussion on the Shroud of Turin.
 
After, allow the students to experience the amazing & immersive exhibit for about 30 minutes.
 
Students will then be given a final talk and invited to join in a short prayerful moment of Adoration. We will be finished and you will be ready to leave the church at 12 pm.

We aim to inspire the hearts and minds of your students. We will do this by weaving together the story of faith & science and show each child how God is calling them into a deeper relationship with Him.
 
We also offer supportive classroom materials - yes, that is right, we have built a small but powerful unit on the Shroud that should help to make an impact to your classroom.
